First stop in Kauai had to be Dukes! We had lunch here after arriving and had such a wonderful welcome. The drinks were absolutely refreshing on a nice sunny day. My husband and I shared an entree and appetizer as well as the pie. It was all so delicious after our 5 hour flight from CA. Our server Omi was very sweet and checked on us often to make sure we didn't need anything. She made the experience even better.

First of all, Our server, Jeremiah, was outstanding... The drinks were great and the food was hot & delicious! Had a pretty nice salad bar as well! We tried the prime rib. It was tender and a nice size with mashed potatoes & asparagus. The hula hula pie was also very good!

Great fish. Great apps. Great dessert. Hell of a combination right? The calamari was flavorful. The fried fish was on point. The mac nut crusted fish was perfect. The hula pie was to die for. Seating was exquisite. Right on the water. Perfect views, great music, great service!!!! Super fast quick and efficient. Definitely have to visit when in town!

Should be a $$$$ on the price for the portions. Service was great, food was great, awesome live singer and ambiance with a creek and vegetation in the bar area. We sat above looking down. Typical tourist trap for over priced food, but the food was amazing in taste.

i am 10 and i go to Kauai every summer with my brothers grandparents and we go to this restaurant a lot and the food is really good and the service is very nice and the view of kalapaki beach is really cool and theres a bar and there is a pond with fish and I get to surf on the beach after I eat so this is my review bye #ryantrahanpleasereadmyreview

We finished off our two week vacation & saved the best for last! Dukes in Lihue! My family had such an amazing time here. It was the perfect send off to our Hawaiian vacation. The views of the bay are unbeatable & this restaurant really sets the island vibe. The coconut shrimp & steak were amazing! Many rounds of lava flows flowing! Only regret was not coming sooner. We would have made it over more than once! Don't forget the Hula Pie to finish! Aloha!

The food was great. Best calamari I have ever had that I can mistaken it for chicken or something else because it was not rubbery. Everything was good. The atmosphere was nice. I sat downstairs which was not enclosed, nice view of the ocean. Service was good too. Almost forgot we ordered pie aka ice cream cake. It could be easily shared with 4 or more people. Would definitely return if I am in the area.

Wonderful place to dine again and again! Love the comp Hula Pie and AYCE Salad Bar. The calamari appetizer and entrees are always delish. A great place for a small gathering, occasion, or just a meal. The ambience and service is perfect. The view of Kalapaki Beach and mountains are breathtaking and never disappoints.

We were driving back from the Kalalau trail and were looking through Yelp to find a place to eat on our drive. Duke's is a well-established restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. The parking location on the GPS is not the best. There are small signs that tell you to drive up the road, but it gets harder to see in the dark. The service was good, and our server had good recommendations. I thought the menu was a little limited, but once I tasted the food, I changed my mind. The items that are listed are excellent! We skipped the salad bar and ordered some other pupus. The entrees were delicious, and they split them for us at no extra cost. This was an excellent last minute dinner choice for us, and I would definitely go back on our next trip to Kauai.
